Is my son on track for his age?
He's 14 months old. He walks, he's starting to run, he says a few words such as mama, dada, dog, hi, yeah, but thats about it. He babbles all the time. He knows some of his toys, not all of them. I can say "Get your ball and bring to Mommy" and he does it. He self feeds, but hasn't quite figured out a spoon yet. He dances to cartoons and lifts his arms when I say "up". As far as colors, shapes, numbers he doesn't know that yet.
He sounds like he is developing very nicely. You must be working so very well with him. You have observed what he knows and does not know. Good for You! When you continue to read Toddler Books to him with colors, shapes, numbers, letters as well as fun literature, he'll pick up the knowledge that he needs. I applaud you as a parent.
