A question for the ladies, how would you like to be approached by a man at a bar/club?
So my friends and i were sitting around the other day and the subject of approaching girls at a bar or club came up. One of my buddies said he will often buy a girl a drink. I have never liked this idea because to me it seems like you have to give her something in order to talk to you, and it also seems like you are putting yourself at a lower standard from the get go. My other friend said he will just introduce himself. I have always thought this was just kind of boring and when attempted a girl will lose interest very fast. And i have seen other people who will just get extremely drunk and talk to every girl they see or start randomly grinding on every girl they see on the dance floor, and surprisingly this seems to rarely work. So my question is simple and mostly aimed at women. If you see a guy in the bar/club that is decent looking how would you want him to approach you? or approach you and your group of friends?
The first step is to smile at her. If she smiles back, approach her, say hi, and have a genuine conversation (meaning no lame pickpup lines). If she seems interested, you could ask her to dance. If you smile at her and she ignores you, then don't waste your time, she's not interested. Girls will decide within 7 seconds of seeing a guy for the first time if they'll give them a chance or not, so make a good first impression by not being fake or corny or coming on too strongly.
