what do you wear to a lyrical class?

im joining a ballet/lyrical class soon and don't no what to wear, i thought you should were tight dance shorts footless tights and leotard or tight dance shirt, but when i went to my dance school website and it does not say the dress code for a ballet/lyrical class, but it says no shorts under the list of the ther classes, im not sure if they mean dance shorts or casual shorts, plus is there a difference between ballet/lyrical, lyrical, or jazz/lyrical

My daughter wears tights with only a black leotard & black dance shorts over the leotard...it is the dress code for her dance school, it looks very classy!

As far as differences lyrical dance is a modern dance form which fuses modern dance, jazz, and ballet....lyrical is often referred to as contemporary dance...it requires excellent technique to perform & you the dancer should be aware of your facial expressions while dancing...you have to feel the music from with inside of you & mostly you dance to a song that tells a story & you act it out through dance.
-when you add either a ballet to lyrical or jazz to lyrical the class leans more towards that type of specialized lyrical class.
