What do you wear at the danceclubs in South Beach, FL.?

I'm going to South Beach, Fl this summer and wanting to hit some hot spot nightclubs. I'm not interested in the clubs that are set up like restaraunts, just straightup dance clubs. What do men and women generally wear? Jeans and a nice button up shirt or more dressy? I'm confused because the nightclubs around my hometown are pretty laid back. Please give me as much advice as possible. Thanks!!!

Hi there, I go to school and party here in Miami so I'll be glad to give you a few pointers. First and most importantly, all clubs in South Beach are 21+

Now that's out of the way, onto the fun stuff (-;

I'm a guy and usually wear a fitted and trendy button-up with a nice pair of dark fade jeans, and a pair of nice shoes (absolutely no sneakers on men or you won't get in anywhere). Some men wear pants, look in the mirror and you'll know if your outfit goes or not. The theme for men here is jet-setting baller.

For women, look somewhat slutty. Wear a trendy and revealing dress and heels. Don't wear jeans, save those for Coconut Grove.

Show up to the club with at least 1 girl for every guy. It's very superficial over here so girls must be at least somewhat attractive.

Generally clubs open at 12 am and close at 5 am 7 nights a week. Space Afterhours goes from 5 am to 11 am.

Larger clubs are generally more lax at the door because they have to fill up the club. Smaller clubs are of course more exclusive.

My favorite is SET, the door is very tough, so get there early.

If you have to wait in line, just be patient and look confident. A few clubs are so exclusive that I've seen celebrities wait in line to get in.

Be ready to spend some money once you get in lol, drinks at the bar are usually $15 plus tip. If you decide to go with bottle service and table, it'll be around $1000 for 2 bottles.
